Over the decades, it has grown and established itself as a leading international electrical switchboards and control systems manufacturer in the region. As a world class manufacturer, it is backed by an internationally recognised ISO9001 certification and its proven track records which is a further assurance that its customers are provided with the best quality products and services.
TERASAKI (FE) presently employs a staff strength of more than 200 ranging from managers, supervisors, engineers to production staff.
The technical expertise, concept and design of its switchboards and control panels are similar to those made by Terasaki Japan. All major components such as circuit breakers, automatic control devices, are imported from Terasaki Japan for assembly in Singapore. Our products are also of customised design tailored to suit our customers’ requirements.
TERASAKI (FE) have a complete in-house facility ranging from design, metalworks, busbar works, painting, assembly, quality control, testing and commissioning and servicing.
Our products are supplied to various countries for the shipbuilding, shiprepairing, oils gas industries, power generating plants, petro-chemical plants, commercial constructions. They are manufactured to conform to the international standards such as IEC, BS as per customers’ requirements.

3 March 1973, The Birth Of TEFE
It was the year that TEFE was formed as a joint-venture company between Terasaki Electric Co. Ltd(TJ), Japan and Lindeteves-Jacoberg Pte Ltd(LJ), Singapore. TEFE operates the factory/office located at No. 1, Commonwealth Lane, Singapore 0314.
1973-1980
TEFE’S Business Were Mainly Concentrated On The Marine And Industrial Sectors In Singapore and MalaysiaMost electrical switchboards, power distribution and control systems supplied were basic in functional design and manually operated. The marine vessels during this period were mainly tug boats and other types of vessels of less than 30,000dwt.

1988-1990
TEFE Appeared As A Cover Story in South-East Asia Equipment News In 1988
During this period, TEFE expanded its business to South-East Asia and even further to Greater China (including Hong Kong), India, Sri Lanka and Asia. The marine and offshore vessels which TEFE supplied to are oil rigs, offshore vessels, drillships, container ships, very large crude oil carriers, Floating Processing Storage and Offloading Vessels (FPSO), Container Vessels and Livestock Carriers. Main Industrial Projects were MRT Phase I and II, Pulau Seraya Power stage II, Changi Airport Inflight Centering Centre, PUB Pontian Pumping Station, Changi Airport (Sky Train Project), etc.
1994
TEFE Acquired A New Factory
TEFE ACQUIRED A NEW FACTORY of 35,000 sq ft at No. 23, Bukit Batok Street 22, Singapore 659590 in line with its expansion.
1995
TEFE Was Accredited The ISO9001 Certification By DET NORSKE VERITASTEFE WAS ACCREDITED THE ISO9001 CERTIFICATION BY DET NORSKE VERITAS, an internationally recognized certification & inspection body for quality management system standards achieved in the areas of design, manufacture and after-sales services.
1999
3 March 1999 – The Birth Of A New Subsidiary CompanyElectrimec Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, wholly-owned for the purpose of trading and distribution. Electrimec distributes pumps, marine equipment (such as marine transformers, rubber fenders, light fittings and alarm systems) and electrical components (such as CAM switches and isolators, power management systems and capacitors).
1999
TEFE set up a Sales & Service Centre Representative OfficeIn Dubai
TEFE SET UP A SALES $ SERVICE CENTRE IN DUBAI, MIDDLE EAST "TERASAKI MIDDLE EAST" to provide services to its customers in the Middle East countries.
2000
TEFE set up a Sales & Service Centre / Representative Office In ShanghaiTEFE SET UP A SALES & SERVICE CENTRE / REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE IN SHANGHAI, CHINA to provide services to its customers in China. TEFE also increased its range of products to include a new series of Alarm Monitoring Systems (TEFE 2000) and Reefer Container Monitoring Systems (TFE21RC).
2001
TEFE BECOMES A 100%-OWNED SUBSIDIARY COMPANY OF TERASAKI JAPAN
TEFE BECOMES A 100%-OWNED SUBSIDIARY COMPANY OF TERASAKI JAPAN, after TJ’s acquisition of shares from LJ.
2002
TEFE Group Was Formed
Terasaki Circuit Breakers (TECS) becomes the subsidiary company of TEFE besides Electrimec. TEFE & Electrimec are located at Ubi Avenue, while TEFE is located at Bukit Batok.
2005
Terasaki Automation Division In Singapore
Setup Terasaki Automation Division in Singapore to broaden its scope and range for servicing and repair of automation systems, instrumentation & central systems for the marine, offshore and land-based industries.
2007
TEFE setup Terasaki Electric (Shanghai) Co Ltd, At Shanghai
TEFE setup Terasaki Electric (Shanghai) Co Ltd, at Shanghai, a factory for design, engineering, manufacture and servicing of electrical switchboards, control consoles and automation systems.
2008
TEFE Ventured Into E&I Turnkey Projects
TEFE ventured into E&I Turnkey Projects for offshore pipe-laying vessels (involving engineering, complete electrical and instrumentation isntallation works, supply electrical switchboards control consoles, MCTs, system commissioning, etc)
Successfully completed 3 vessels for E&I Turnkey Projects (between 2008 - 2010)
